The Suburban Tool SV-337-S1 sine vise provides 4-3/4" of jaw capacity for holding a workpiece at a precise angle for machining or inspection, with an angled center channel that adds extra holding capacity. The movable jaw pulls into the base at 45 to 60° to maximize hold-down force and eliminate tilting and lifting.
Hardened from steel to Rc 58-60, this S1-series vise bolts directly to a SineSet sine plate or compound sine plate of the same series, and also bolts to the AP-664-S1 90° conversion plate for versatile setups. Small horizontal and vertical vees in the movable jaw plus a ratchet mechanism with notched pockets and a one-piece drawbar keep work secure.
