The Suburban Tool MSP-1218-S2 is an 18" x 12" magnetic sine plate from the SineSet permanent magnetic series, a wide, rigid base for surface grinding, layout, and inspection at accurate, repeatable angles. As a standard-pole model, its 1/4" poles and 1/8" separators produce deep flux lines for holding large and thick parts with authority.
The sine plate portion is made of steel, hardened to Rc 58-60, and the magnetic chuck removes or replaces with just four bolts, so the sine plate and chuck can be run separately.
- Deep-flux standard poles lock down heavy, thick workpieces during grinding
- Gage block roll with two 0.200" minute steps sets small angles using standard gage block sets
- Chuck is lubricated and sealed against dirt and coolant for long service life
- Ships with a locking strap and two self-storing, hardened and ground rails
- Four-bolt chuck doubles as a stand-alone magnetic chuck
- Made in the USA by Suburban Tool
- A removable handle, a locking strap, and two rails are included with each chuck.
