The MCS-12 magnetic cylinder square from Suburban Tool stands 13-1/2 inches tall on a 6-inch magnetic base, giving inspectors a fast, accurate way to check squareness, parallelism, concentricity, and runout on component parts. The magnetic base eliminates clamping distortion and speeds set-up on the surface plate or grinder.
Manufactured from steel selected and normalized for stability and uniformity, its base is perpendicular to the shaft within 0.0003 inch over the length of the square.
