The Suburban Tool B-5-MS is a 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" magnetic sine plate from the Magna-Sine line, equipped with an extremely powerful ceramic magnet chuck for confident workholding. A combination fine and standard pole spacing lets the chuck grip both small and large parts, making it a versatile fixture for surface grinding, layout, and inspection.
Every part but the chuck is hardened steel at Rc 58-60. The swivel block gives full face contact with gage blocks to keep them securely in place, and an exclusive locking device inside the hinge roll pulls the top plate down onto your gage block stack without distortion. The angular accuracy is guaranteed to be within 5 seconds of arc up to 15 degrees, 10 seconds up to 30 degrees and 15 seconds up to 45 degrees.
