Taft-Peirce Compound Sine Angle Magnetic Chucks combine a magnetic sine plate with compound tilt, letting machinists set precise compound angles and hold work magnetically for grinding and inspection. Setting the angle with gage blocks per a sine plate calculator gives repeatable, accurate results on the surface grinder or in the QC lab.
Available through Suburban Tool, this collection features 6" and 6-1/2" x 12" magnetic sine plates that pair the holding power of a magnetic chuck with true compound sine geometry.
