The Suburban Tool MG-5CV-S1 Master-Grind Index Fixture puts a 5C collet and a v-block in one S1-series spin fixture, accepting all standard 5C collets with a 1-5/8" v-block capacity and a 1-1/4" through hole for versatile toolroom grinding.
A 72-position index plate provides a hard stop every 5° ±15 arc seconds, with a built-in 2-1/2" sine bar for angles in between. The spindle runs in two heavy-duty 4" diameter tapered roller bearings for a maximum spindle runout of 0.00005". It bolts directly to a SineSet sine plate or compound sine plate of the S1 series, and supports horizontal or vertical v-block mounting.
