The Suburban Tool V-237-J-S1 precision vise packs 4-1/2" of jaw capacity into a solid, one-piece body built for the surface grinder, inspection bench, and toolroom. As the movable jaw closes, it pulls into the base at 45 to 60 degrees, driving your workpiece down with maximum holding and hold-down force so parts will not tilt or lift under the wheel.
This "J" model adds versatility for demanding layout and workholding jobs.
- Angled center channel provides extra jaw capacity for larger parts.
- Ratchet mechanism with notched pockets and a one-piece drawbar for repeatable clamping.
- Jaw opens and closes without unbolting the vise from the work surface.
- Horizontal and vertical vees in the movable jaw, plus vees in the tops of the jaws and 1/8" x 1/8" steps at the top inside faces.
- SineSet S1 model bolts directly to a matching sine plate or the AP-664-S1 90-degree conversion plate.
- Made in the USA by Suburban Tool
- End pockets for convenient clamping on V-237 models and larger.
- SineSet® models bolt directly to a SineSet® sine plate or compound sine plate of the same series. S1 models also bolt to the AP-664-S1 90° conversion plate.
