The Suburban Tool V-237-J precision vise offers a 4-1/2" jaw capacity in a solid, one-piece body built for demanding workholding on the surface grinder, in the toolroom and during inspection. As a J model, it adds vees in the tops of the jaws and 1/8" x 1/8" steps at the top inside face for versatile part gripping.
- Solid one-piece body delivers the rigidity toolmakers rely on for precision work.
- Ratchet mechanism with notched pockets and a one-piece drawbar for secure clamping.
- Movable jaw pulls into the base at 45 to 60 degrees for maximum holding power and hold-down force, eliminating tilting and lifting.
